The money lesson that changed my perspective
Miss Jackie initially joined banking because she wanted to make money. She later moved into insurance with a similar motivation. But earning more did not automatically mean making better financial decisions.
She was still making financial mistakes. Through mentorship — particularly her experience with Claris Wanayanga — she began to understand the importance of financial discipline and the difference between earning and building.
You can earn more and still struggle financially if you don't know how to manage what you earn.
That lesson changed how she approaches financial advisory. It is why she asks questions first, explains without judgement, and talks about money differently.
